To qualify for the 100% Price Guarantee:

1. The diamond or gemstone must be in its original, undamaged condition.
2. The original GIA certificate or gemstone certification must be returned. (An extra fee applies for lost certificates.)
3. The new diamond or gemstone must be at least 60% greater in value than the original purchase.

• Why 60%? We know it sounds like a lot, but naturally, when you upgrade—say from a 1-carat to a 1.50-carat diamond (with the same color and clarity range)—the price of the larger diamond is usually more than 60% higher due to the jump in the carat size group.

Yes! You can upgrade as many times as you like, provided each upgrade meets the policy requirements. We like to call it – Building wealth with M&B.

The following items are eligible:

1. Natural GIA-certified diamonds purchased from M&B Private Jewelers.
2. Certified natural gemstones, including sapphires, rubies, emeralds, spinels, and Aquamarines from our inventory.

Yes, the following are excluded:

• Special orders of diamonds or gemstones that do not meet our quality control (QC) standards.
• Non-certified gemstones.
• Lab-grown diamonds
• Settings and melee diamonds on the setting are not included in the trade-in value.
• Taxes paid at the time of purchase are excluded from the credit.
• Shipping fees, if paid when the item was purchased, are also excluded from the credit.

The trade-in value relates only to the GIA-certified diamond or certified gemstones purchased from M&B Private Jewelers. Here’s what you need to know:

1. The Setting:

• You can keep your old setting, or we can sell the gold and deduct its present value (at market rates) from the cost of a new setting.

2. Melee Diamonds on the Setting:

• The smaller diamonds (melee) used in your setting are not included in the trade-in value.
• We can either:
• Incorporate them into your new design, if suitable.
• Return them to you for use in future jewelry project

• The upgrade value is based on the original purchase price of the GIA-certified diamond or certified gemstone only less the cost of updating the certificate.
• Taxes, shipping fees, the setting, and melee diamonds are excluded from the credit.

A restock fee is applied to cover the costs associated with the upgrade process. This fee ensures that the diamond or gemstone meets our strict quality standards and includes the following:

1. Sending the diamond or gemstone to GIA or any other relevant certification laboratory for re-certification and verification.
2. Shipping expenses involved in securely transporting the item to the certification body.
3. Re-certification expenses, including lab fees required to verify and update the item's certification.
4. Additional expenses that may occur during the upgrade process, such as handling or administrative costs.

The restock fee will be calculated at the time of the upgrade based on the specific expenses incurred during the process.
